I wondered if the slightly built dark haired chap might be Kirk. Glad to get confirmation.

Quite a scrappy quarter, where the pressure was better than the disposal. I thought Bell was probably our best. Wicks, Ronke and Amartey were lively. I liked a few Warner's efforts. Morrison always does some good things at this level.

I reckon the team is playing the most cohesively it’s played for ages. Pressure good, ball movement fluent. It’s just that last kick into F50 that has let them down. Bell, Ronke and Amartey best for me so far, but plenty are showing plenty.

That Morrison goal was handy, to quell the late momentum. For most of the quarter, I thought the effort was really good, with Sandringham almost always under pressure. Also periods of effective ball movement. Bell, Roberts and Sheldrick all tough around the ball.

Corey Warner seems to have improved since I last saw him. His leg power and line-breaking threat is similar to his brother.

That's probably the best I've seen him play. He's always had good moments, but today he had more moments. He does have plenty of pace, so he can both escape the clutches of his opponents and rapidly shut them down when they have the ball.

They cannot keep keeping Amartey out of the seniors. 24 disposals and 5 Goals again. Sheldrick looks all class.
