He was in a position to kick 3 which is streets ahead of other small forwards that get games for nothing

Mills is the midfield bull, coaches box beeds to leave him in there

Love Warner but first option the best option, when your flat footed you shouldnt try to break tackles

Match committee need a shake up

      Wicks, COR and Hickey

Harry C straight in after 7 weeks, i forget what years he won his 2 Brownlows

Why is Gould on the list after 3 yrs if he hasnt debut

      - - - Updated - - -

Is there a player in the 44 that couldnt do what Wicks does ?

May as well draw a name from a hat for the last spot in the 22 if we are going to play that useless spud

He is fast im not saying that, im saying he needs to pick his times to break tackles and break lines

When your standing still or running backwards that isnt the time

Maybe waswan was referring to when he got tacked HTB with no awareness of the Port player closing on him after Logan handballed to him.

Had a shocker. Hence, should be dropped. No good.

Just kidding - but not about the shocker.

He was every bit as poor as several of his team mates. As always, your favourites always have unlimited free passes, but can't wait to kick your naughty list players.

He wasnt poor , he was effective , wasnt his best and wasnt best on by any means . THe only one who took the game on and broke lines. Didnt get enough help , but didnt love his ball use . He has had fantastic games before and shown great potential so of course i give him a free pass , why wouldnt i ? You want me to hang a kid for 1 sub par game ? but then im negative ?

You wont find a bigger fan of Warner than me but he needs to read the situation better, his first option is to break tackles, this isnt colts, a quick 1-2 handball or wait to you are bursting before breaking a tackle

I know facts aren’t your thing but he was poor today.

                        60% efficiency and 7 clangers.

He absolutely was poor by his standards, don't try and dress up a pig with a lipstick. He certainly wasn't alone today of course, but that was way off his best.

Jack all clearances, butchered it signifcantly on a number of occasions (disposal efficiency 60%, kicking efficiency 40%), poor decision making at others. What element of the game was he exactly 'effective' in today?

Just cause he 'takes the game on' doesn't mean he had a good game.

He is a ripper player, but if your going to rip into others for being poor today, then he deserves the same rocket.

But then that would require consistency wouldn't it?

It is only one set of measures of course, and not without it's criticism - but well I think it illustrates the point most without blinkers on can see.

My rule is pretty simple , show me you can play and ill lay off . Whens the last time you heard me pick on Blakey , Gulden, Mcdonald, ?

Im not a negative person believe it or not , so i look for the positives . Chad tried hard and made things happen . He wasnt perfect , big deal . He did his best on a day when few others did , thats a pass . Sorry

You claim that, yet you've been on a 2+ year campaign to relentlessly death ride a player you don't like. Funny way to show you are not a negative person. I suggest you missed the * with the footnote (unless it's someone I hate for 'insert this week's ridiculous assertion or reasoning' here).

What things did he make happen by the way? With his massive 2 inside 50s, or his 2 score involvements? Maybe it was the equal game high 7 turnovers you were referring to, or the 4 effective kicks out of 10?

I get it isn't going to always work out for him - but his outcomes today were not 'making things happen', unless your referring to making things happen for Port.

That is having a poor game. But it's all good - you know 'he did his best'....

Yep, sorry, but he had a poor game. Was by no means our worst, but he was not effective. I love the kid, but gotta call it. Numerous poor disposals (like I said, not Pat Malone), fumbled and lacked awareness at times. I’m not out to hang him for a crap game, but doesn’t escape criticism.

Chad probably on par with RB, who was also ineffective today. Can’t remember many tackles laid (a few in junk time, but not when it mattered). Mentioning tackles as that’s what he seems to get measured on.

…but way too many were well below both of these. We need more from the bottom 6 or 7 otherwise time for a clean out.
