The dropping of Logan has parallels with other controversial omissions from Grand Finals - Peter Cripps Hawthorn, Derek Kickett Essendon. Both of those teams lost. Bad karma.

Struggling to sleep big time - can't wait to see what we can do on the biggest stage.

No matter what happens, I'm so proud of this team, this club and our players. It has been a sensational season. But I'm hoping there is one final day of Swans footy magic to come for season 2022!

      Come on you mighty Swannies!!!!

Totally concur. A terrific season. Proud that they have made the Grand Final. Individual brilliance by players during the season - Cunningham, Ladhams,Amartey, Josh Kennedy, Ronke, Wicks - during the year to get them to where they are now. Win or lose cannot be prouder to support this club.

Everyone's a bit quiet This week, less posts on this thread than on either of its predecessors, despite the Mac substitution. Feels ominous.

Mine is a combination of exhaustion and unease. Didn't sleep a wink.

May, admittedly, be more due to knocking off some 10% beer as well as, based on the little bottles in the recycling, a few too many scotch and drys whilst engaging in some kitchen dancing last night.

So happy to have a ticket today. Can’t wait.

Do I go straight to MCG or catch the train the Flinders Street and walk there?

In regards to Logan, I’m heartbroken for him. However, he has been in our bottom 4 for a while and so his omission will not be the difference. Now that McLean is in, I hope he kicks a couple so there isn’t a pile on for the young lad.

                          Heading to the G today

Have been feeling really confident about this team for quite some time now, they have a steely resolve and youthful exuberance that I haven’t seen in a Swans team before.

Good luck everyone, have a great day

                          ????????????

Have a standing room ticket only, so hoping for the best (maybe an unlikely vacant seat somewhere). As it’s two out of town teams, the vibe in Melbourne is a little more subdued. They stuffed up with the river parade, but it’s fun riding my bike along the Yarra.

There’s a cracker of a cartoon in the Herald Sun yesterday of the Cats players in a row boat about to be surrounded and attacked by aggressive looking Swans (the birds).

Horse, the man David King calls ‘the most boring man in football in the last 20 years will mastermind (with the help of Others) this win.

We are booked in for the After Party at the Crown which will be a blast .

The Vince Rugari piece in the SMH today is pretty good (see the link in the Media thread).

                            SWANS by 17 .

When you’re in the (beautiful) Kimberley with no TV, your butterflies are hot and sweaty. Thank the gods I at least have the internet at Emma Gorge. Have a great day everyone, please make sure the MCG is loud for our magnificent bloods. [emoji1696][emoji120]??[emoji837][emoji16][emoji266][emoji3508]

Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Just noticed that our collective beloved will be coaching one of the teams (Team Houli) in the u17 game to play at 9:30. Hope their change rooms are near the Geelong ones so he can loiter around for some mind games.
