Chad's video message seemed reassuring he will recommit with us (i know we've heard that before with Jordan Dawson). However, i.was uncomfortable hearing discussion on Chad's "potential" return to WA on "AFL.Tonight" this evening (cap space requirement & best suited WA club - WC).

Correct. We were absolutely certain where a bid for Errol would come so took the gamble. Plus we had the advantage of Pap’s final game kicking woes already giving us Logan. That’s actually the great mystery of that draft - what we’d have done if our position and the Hawks had flipped, given they were so high of Campbell.Chad's video message seemed reassuring he will recommit with us (i know we've heard that before with Jordan Dawson). She might be the one who wants to come back to Perth etc.
Let’s hope we can win this and next year, and then he may want to stay to go for three in a rowComment

Whatever Chad decides to do is fine provided he helps us win a flag this or next year.
If he decides after winning a flag with us that he wants to go home and we get pick 3 and the Weagle's first rounder from 2025 I can handle that.
If I had to place a bet it will be that his management extracts top dollar (as they should) for a two year extension that takes him to RFA and Tasmania's entry at which stage he can name his price which we will not be able to match. Pure speculation but he does seem to be settled and happy in Sydney so all we need to do is get in the ball park for 2026 and 2027. After that he goes with our blessing as a multiple flag winning Swans legendComment

The best performance so far was about 10 disposals and a couple of goals. Unless he has a break out game I doubt if he will be with the Swans in 2025.Comment

Hanily has been a great addition to Gippsland’s side over his four games this season, having no less than 24 disposals each time. He hit that mark once again on Saturday, showcasing a sharp turn of speed and clean handling in midfield. The top-ager would often shark the ball and jet to the outside, with his first instinct to handball and often getting it back in the same play. Hanily was more polished than most for the Power, bringing his side’s play to life in short spurts.

Paps
Rampe
We have had some good ones so here is hoping for young Tom Hanily
Can’t wait to watch how he progresses
Konstanty and Gus have really encountered a lot of injuries so smart decision to cover that if required in the future.
Pretty good birthday present for tomorrow for you Tom turning 19"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Correct and then we followed that up by taking Vickery from Hawthorns NGA. Our last pick Mitchell is looking the best of the three we drafted.Comment

All true - and Weddle looks a beauty. (From memory, Cal Twomey had him down as pegged for us). But that mix of picks also ultimately contributed in part to us to keeping a pick for Green, points for Cleary and then trade for Adams and Grundy, so on and on it goes . . .'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment
