GWS still has an extended list for next season I believe so list management is not as critical as for normal clubs.

My iphone replaces White with Tippett.
Marital rules with martial law; and I'm getting a samsung next time !!!!
BTW, I heard that if you become a born again christian, it immediately restores your virginity.
I might give that a try, you know, save yourself for someone "special".
However, if you can't save yourself for someone special, than as the song goes, "love the one your with" or atleast try to get a considerable discount in price !!!Last edited by BillyRayCypress; 22 October 2012, 12:51 PM.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

In case you hadnt noticed they came last. Only beating fellow start up, and Port who promptly sacked their coach they were so embarrased.
Even if Tippett only stays 3 years to allow the Patton and Camerons of the team to develop, he would be a very handy pickup.
If I were GWS, I'd be gunning hard for Tippett. And if I were the crows, I kinda think getting nothing for Tippett if he goes to GWS, is better than getting a so-so pick and so-so player and giving him to their immediate premiership rivals in Sydney.
Thats the we I read it. Best bet is to offload White for a 2nd round pick, and offer both 1st and 2nd round pick to the crows.Comment

OK new deal
Pick 23, Jesse White and pick 139 for Tippett.
This way the Swans get Tippett, Jesse gets a new home and the Crows don't have to delist anyone. (They can tell their members that they got a player and 2 picks for the defector.. and they picked up a spare parts ruckman for insurance from Richmond...) Swans missout late in the draft (No 139) and get their man!

Yes I noticed. But it was in-line with expectations. GWS got the best of last year's draft, and they will do so again this year. Their picks last year seem to have gone pretty well on the whole and they have some very exciting big lads up forward. Add to that Brodie Grundy, if they decide to get him with picks 2 or 3 (Whitfield is assumed to go at #1), and they are shaping up very well for big guys for the future. Of course Tippett could come in and help them now, but that doesn't seem to be in line with the development strategy they seem to be following. It's assumed that they will really start to threaten for a flag at about year 4 or 5, and the AFL is banking on that bringing the crowds to Skoda (as well as BRC's $3.90 chips). As such, picking up Tippett doesn't seem to be in their plans, and nothing they've said would indicate otherwise at the moment.
BTW I like the idea of trading White for a 2nd rounder, then offering AFC 1st and 2nd round picks. Seems fair.Comment

jack2white at Bigfooty says Rohan, which is a ridiculous askYou don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment

At home sick so reading is filling in time. Scott Gullan is saying Jesse White has signed the papers, Adelaide have simply not lodged them yet, they were simply spooked by the bad PR
Backed that up with his view that the deal will not change, white and 23 for TippetLast edited by Reggi; 22 October 2012, 02:53 PM.You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory!
