    Fatal error: Allowed memo

Just watching BTG from last week, with Jack Gunston. It turns out that he won Adelaide's best 1st year player award in 2011, but when he told them he was leaving they took it off him and gave it to someone else.

They know how to hate down there.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

I am in danger of adding Tippett to my "must snog before I die" bucket list.

Kept putting his hand in the chest of his opponent, and ended up taking an uncontested mark with his man two steps behind him.

Interesting stats! Incredible to think that the leading goalkicker in the team currently ranked second on the ladder has only kicked 24 goals for the year, and the team is still averaging over 100 points per game. We really do share it around. Pyke has done very well with 20.6 for the year, compensating for Reid's absence.

On this pace, with a full season, he'd have been equal with Jeremy Cameron and only 5 behind the anti-Josh Kennedy in the Coleman race.

Hopefully he kicks another bag against the Pies. If not there are plenty more other avenues to goals.Whilst individual awards like the Coleman are great recognition our team has their eyes on the more important end of season prize. A great example during the Bulldogs game when Tippett could have quite easily scored himself but noticed an even better opportunity even more closer to lay off for a certain goal. You have just gotta love the mighty SWANS.

He is a very good player. We need players at the fall of the ball when he contests as when the ball hit the ground last night the Pies took it away too easily. Nice to see last night he got a couple of frees for knocking arms and scragging.

The callers keep raving about Tippet's hands. They're good no doubt. He keeps stretching out and taking marks out front. But I would like to see his marking stats - he seem to drop a few IMHO, particularly at the start of games. Maybe I think I notice this as he gets his hands to the ball first so often. It may be due to the contest or the chopping of his arms, but at the start of last night (and the week before) I'm not sure he was as clean as Sam Reid at his best.

Neverthelss, he is a good mark.

Couple of years time when both are in the side with marks sticking? Delicious!
