Off field? No idea. On field, shouldn't be a problem - these days Buddy is pretty much a lead up forward whose shoulder woes make it hard for grim to mark overhead, while Kurt tends not to stray too far from goal.
Speaking of which, Kurt had better do some ruck work revision, because he's going to be Pyke's relief next season (whether or not he likes being in the ruck).

Tippo is actually a pretty good ruckman, so I'm sure he'll learn our system. Even though he didn't play much in the ruck this year, he probably did get a fair amount of training.

I've been thinking today about the nasty hysteria of 12 months ago from the Adelaide Crows and particularly from their supporters, accusing Kurt Tippett of being a traitor and a mercenary only interested in money. I don't know about this. If Tippett rucks, not only will he be the most expensive ruckman in the history of ever but the best opposition defender will go to Reid again and we'll be back where we started. If Mumford leaves, I think they'll have to poach another ruck from someone else.

I would not be surprised to see this at all, even if it is an old stager who only has 1-2 years left in the tank. Would also be keen for us to draft Lobb from WA if we can along with a young defender plus Perris . There's a glaring opportunity on the list for a young ruckman to make the Number 1 rucking role his own for 10+ years.

We seem to have two rookie ruckman who cost us nothing so that extra position filled.

Tippett showed me enough this year to think he definitely belongs in the forward line. Another pre-season doing extra work Nick Davis will help. Please, a bit if forward relief rucking perhaps but not a 2nd ruck. He will be a devastating FF rock with Buddy leading out. I reckon he will be happy to have Buddy in the team. So am I, just quietly.

Ummmm ... we did when Plugger was re-drafted in 2012 & wore #46 ... it was a short lived & unseccessful pairing

I think our coach is planning for it to be like having Wayne Carey and John Longmire in the same team. And that did work pretty well!
