It was in 2002 not 2012. It was one of those "Rodney Eade's better ideas" that backfired.

Sorry. Typo. Clearly ... since neither were in our premiership side last year. It was late.

Poor plugger got too fit & lost too much weight. He was pushed around too much during his comeback & too prone to injury. I was hoping for a comeback like Michael Jordan's (his first one with the Bulls ... heck even like his second one with the Wizards would've been ok ... but it was more like Bjorn Borg's return to the game)

Plugger received a very bad corked thigh which just didn't get better. However, Plugger is not Buddy and Plugger didn't have the endurance that Buddy has. He was quick over a short distance but hardly ever roamed far from the goal square.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

When they were up here in Coffs early in the year Tippo was pretty much rucking at most training sessions. Maybe that was because Mummy rolled his ankle on the morning of the first session?

I think they are talking about Hall=Buddy and Lockett=Tippo? Relative positions if not ability.

The Swans will definitely need a skilful forwards coach to co-ordinate Tippo and Bud.

No it wasn't. Rocket was not a big supporter of Plugger's comeback.

Correct. 100% a marketing department decision to agree when the big fella asked to make a comeback. From a football department perspective it was a distraction at a time they were trying to create a forward structure around the new recruit, Barry Hall.

I still don't understand why would coach agree to this without any proper fight. Personally I didn't like it when Plugger was brought back and thought it was very stupid. At that time I believed that Rocket must have been in agreement because of the poor forward line.

Everyone's forgotten about Tipoff, and it didn't even get to 4000 posts.

Annie I had a look at the Tippett thread on the Crows site recently and they had over 30,000 posts! We aren't even in the race.

Seems every time the Tippett thread goes quite you bring it back into the spot light.

We should take him with a rookie pick. All Joel has to do is tell recruiters during his interview that he wants to go home to be with family. No one will touch a Tippett with that attitude.
