Why do we pay for commercial channels when the national network delivers it better - and without annoying ads?

Gee whiz, Scotty, Buddy was quick to knock the finals video of the front page.

I'd post wildly inflammatory and illogical posts on the message boards of Melbourne footy sites and forums as other clubs sign free agents and high paid trade targets.

Humph All the wild speculation on trade outs knocked on the head by Andrew Ireland but timing perfect. He waits until last minute to say "noone is being traded out because of Buddy". booo hiss

What we do lack is a very clever small forward...I dont put Benny in that category. I'd love someone like a Josh Green from Brisbane, Dalhaus from Bulldogs, Walters from Freo, Monfries from Pt Adelaide,Elliott from the Pies, Breust from Hawks. We may have a kid but our premiership window is now and one of these guys would top our list off nicely. Green or Elliott more getable. Give Pies White and our 2nd Rd draft pick for Elliott.

Also Horse isn't"t a big fan of clever small forwards, he prefers players that can function as bona fides midfielders. BTW We had Breust in red and white, but didn't keep him.

Not sure adding Armstrong to the mix improves the offer.

It's simply a matter of the Swans not wanting him, so they are helping to get him another chance at AFL level.

                            That's good for everyone.

I think the Giants would be a great fit, he'd be very handy in their lineup.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

St. Kilda have traded out McEvoy for pick 17 (Hawthorn)...on trade for Jesse White???

                                - - - Updated - - -

BTW a couple of posters have suggested that me (and others) are KEEN or PLANNING to trade out one of our favourites. I never said any such thing...however I am not averse to shooting the breeze about what would be fair/unfair for either side IF those with all the power decided to really barter.

We need to be prepared for stuff we don't approve of (I nearly punched the computer when I found out that we had given Sean Dempster away for absolutely nothing).

If Nick Smith wanted to go home I would take pick #2 in a heartbeat.

Also I re-assert that Paul Roos would do cartwheels if he could get Gary Rohan with pick #2....or Luke Parker. So would nearly all Melbourne supporters.
"I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005
