Not sure if he's been discussed but does anyone think Jed Adcock may be worth a lifeline? Only 29, could have 2 or 3 seasons left in him. Former captain, and still in Decent form when dumped by the lions. Wouldn't cost much either. Could throw Stevie J in that bracket too. Could be a cheap way to bolster our depth, or would we be holding back our youth by bringing these two guys in ?

Stevie J could be our Mitch Morton of 2016, only better!

We're not North Melbourne we actually want to win a premiership. Adcock only started playing well after he found out he was out of the lions. I like stevie J but with Rose BJ Harry and Rohan now Towers we have a stacked forward line, i said it before get stevie as a coach as a player he does too many annoying things

But that's the point , we wouldn't have too pay much , they are both delisted. Would t have to trade, they would be depth, mentoring our younger players and with perhaps coaching roles to follow.

Adcock will surely get a gig somewhere. Wouldn't be too disappointed if it is with us.

I am amazed that the Lions delisted him. He's not that old, and they are already a pretty young side, lacking leadership in many spots around the ground. I've not paid too much attention to the Lions in the last year or two, but at his prime he was an absolute gun.

              Adcock yes.
Stevie J no. Neither as player nor coach.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                I'd take either or both.

Matthew Stokes is another discard who has a couple of years of footy left in him. He'd probably be competing for the same spot as McGlynn - he's more skilled than McGlynn but not as manically tough.

Leuenberger speculation continues.....this from afl.com.au earlier(4:47pm)..."Clubs believe Brisbane Lions free agent Matthew Leuenberger is leaning towards joining Essendon as a free agent although he has not yet officially made the decision between the Sydney Swans and the Bombers." Looks like we may have to look elsewhere, ie; Eagles.

I'm not too fussed if we miss out on Leuenberger...I prefer Sinclair, he's more of a threat when resting forward.

A deal involving Jetta for Sinclair seems most likely at this stage.

He is exactly the type of player we need! Quick, skillful goal kicking small forward/mid who can also take a mark by the look of his highlights.

Sad thing is that he's getting a bit of hype of late and with good results at the combine could push himself up to a late first round, early 2nd round pick that we won't most likely have! ????
Before the last couple of weeks he was predicted to go around middle second round maybe 30's similar to Cokatoo last year but after the Allies v Nab Academy and combine he went to top 10 probably same will happen with Rioli first round atleast now... if Cyril hadn't won the Norm Smith

I hope its jetta for Sinclair and pick third round most likely and not a straight up trade

Reports are flowing through that Leunberger is signing with the bombers. IF he and Bellchambers can stay fit he will be a good addition to the club.

The club won't be a good addition to him though! Still reckon the Essendon list is middle of the table with or without WADA.

                              Move on .....
