Hmmm, now that you mention it, he does seem to have taken over from McLean, the role of, not playing/not on the injury list. The last time he played was against the Suns in late May. If I remember rightly, he suffered some sort of foot injury, but it was different from the toe injury, that kept him out previously. Possibly more upper foot or ankle? Possibly tendon related? I think they originally said, that it was likely to keep him out for 6-7 weeks. So, probably won't be seeing him for at least a few weeks.Comment

Hope Ling is putting all this down time to good use in the gym.
HELP PLEASE Ugg or someone else - off the Swans website NEAFL Round 17 Saturday, July 28, Brisbane Lions, 10.30am, Blacktown Internatioanl Sportspark
I'm driving through Sydney that weekend (Qld to SA) and will go to the game if I can be certain when it is July 28 is a Sunday not a Saturday. Is the game on Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th
Thanks in advanceLast edited by 707; 21 June 2019, 05:30 PM.Comment

I have it down as a Sunday which would make sense as originally it would have been a curtain raiser to swans freoComment

Okay this is interesting, Darcy Cameron will not be playing this game and I’m led to believe this decision was made before the Hawks game meaning it’s not as a result of Sinclair’s concussion and a need to put Cameron on standby for the GC game.Comment

If true might be worrying rather than interesting.
Who is next in line to be the senior team ruckman??Comment
-
Could it be that Darcy was a line ball decision but in the end medical staff felt it safer to give him one more week meaning he's a good chance for next week if required? If he's not fit and Sinclair doesn't get up, maybe Amartey gets a run?Comment

I think they'd play Reid w/ Aliir backing up in the ruck before that happensComment

Another late change, McCartin out.
So final changes are Cameron and McCartin out, Cooper Kilpatrick and Ky McGrath inComment
