About time to promote Rowbottom and actually give him time in the middle.

He might have been our best today but he’s still a way off from senior level

Who would you suggest we drop for him?

I refer you to this - “James is taking his game to a new level and he’s playing at AFL standard now,” Laidler told Swans Media post-match.

If next week is just replacing Buddy then it will be McCartin but Rowbottom should get a call up when needed rather than Fox who is limited or KJ who is yesterday's man.

I would still like to see Stoddart get a senior call up. He already has the pace of the game at AFL level, which is the hard thing to get adjusted to. He can step into the senior side and looks like he belongs at the level, even though I would expect him to be as productive given his lack of experience.

Rowbottom can come into the side at any time, but I'm happy to keep Rose in for now and I suppose that Cunningham will get back shortly, unless his injury set back is worse than it was made out to be.

We didn’t develop Mummy. We stole him from Geelong. But the Cameron situation is hard to understand.

Mumford’s career stats at Geelong vs Sydney

                  Games
                  Geel 21
                  Syd 79

                  Hit outs
Geel total 287 (av per game 13.7)
Syd total 2237 (av per game 28.3)

                  Marks
Geel total 40 (av per game 1.9)
Syd total 219 (av per game 2.8)

                  Disposals
Geel total 178 (av per game 8.5)
Syd total 918 (av per game 11.6)

                  Tackles
Geel total 72 (av per game 3.4)
Syd total 365 (av per game 4.6)

With respect, while Geelong might have been the first club to draft him, I think Steve Taubert and Co. did indeed develop Mumford’s game to a much higher level as a ruckman after arriving at Sydney.

I guess my point was we didn’t develop him for GWS, as we did with Nankervis for Richmond and we may well be doing with Cameron.

I thought the camera work for this game was abysmal.Must have been a learner camera operator on the job. Most of the time it was near impossible to identify the players or see the action in any detail because everything was in wide angle.I hope its not a sign of things to come.

If we can get a decent trade from GWS, then happy days. Young mid like Shipley would be great, or a small forward like Daniels or Lloyd. Maybe if we gave a little more, could get Corr?

Leave him alone, that poor bugger lost his job last week working on AFL score reviews :-)

Not getting much for Cameron, late 50s or 60s pick, maybe a few positions upgrade, swap a low 50s for a mid 40s. Probably depend on which club he chooses to move to.

If it's true that three clubs are interested, we might have a bit of leverage.

                                Aha! Thanks.

Pardon my ignorance but how so? Would there really be a director for this?
