The Giants game is the outlier in 2020.Comment

Clubs must be getting very frustrated at no news on TPP & list sizes/make up.
AFLPA have to agree to any changes to the CBA, knowing how they look after the top end players, if it's one or the other, they'll agree to list cuts which will chop the lowest rungs rather than the Dangerfield's of the comp taking a pay cut!Comment

With the Buddy situation the priority with our first pick has to be the best KPF available.Comment

100% agreed. The GWS was likely a just a flash in the pan game and not a true reflection of our talent. The Fremantle game confirmed this.Comment

GWS has no run and carry at the moment and they are not doing the hard stuff well too. TheIt ladder position reflects that. Fremantle in the other hand are playing a brand of footy that Swans played for many years - hard tackle, good spread and good defence. No wonder we struggled with less hardened bodies, lack of trust in each other’s game and lack of awareness of positioning and polish around the contest. But the difference between good side and an average side is never huge and a few games experience and development will make it happen.Comment

We need a KPF, KPD, and 2 good midfielders to be an excellent side. Braeden Campbell and Errol gulden - at least one of them will turn out to be very good. We target a KPF this draft and then Next year trade for a midfielder (Pay overs if needed), Ruck (less important and would come cheaper through trade rather than to develop one which would take years) and a KPD (Easy to find Through trade if the team is doing well And would come cheap) to get ready for finals assault.Comment

Unfortunately a number of players who should be cut were given longer contracts. In hindsight this was probably an error as it now means some of the promising young ones will get cut whilst we are stuck with grey and taylorComment
-
Definitely a mistake giving Gray and Taylor two year contracts......but the club obviously thought they would offer us more than they have and believed a one year offer was not enough to initially entice them. Again, post event knowledge.....which the club (or no one for that matter) could predict. Any trade or drafting decision by any club carries risk and success is not guaranteed.
Seriously, only those who seriously questioned these two players recruitments from the beginning are the only one's who can criticise the decision to recruit them now.....anyone else is just conveniently hindsight whinging.Comment
