Quite a good article on Buller.

Well, he should have plenty of opportunity to show what he can do and it'll be interesting to see if his presence can improve the VFL side significantly. The last time they had a genuine KPF, instead of just a resting ruckman, was round 4 when Francis played.Comment

Actually it’s great to see that KB and team have picked on needs rather than best available, though there may not have been a lot of the latter at our turn!
Good luck to the two lads- put the work in and let’s see what you’ve got.
So glad we didn’t go for Oscar, though.Comment

These are two very good selections with a back history that shows why they haven't made it previously. Both could be surprise packets and well worth a try. These are smart selections.
Wonder if we were surprised Buller lasted to our second as I though he'd had interest from several Vic clubs. Swans website says "Buller came through the WA pathway system with current Swans young stars Chad Warner and Logan McDonald and all three were part of the 2019 Western Australian National Championship winning side" so he already has friends here, nice.
Oscar McDonald would be just picking up a twice delisted player to maybe fill a senior gap. but these are selections with an eye to the future rather than 2023, although both could play at some stage.
Will be welcome additions to the seriously undermanned VFL side initially.
GWS had two selections, the first at 5 before us, but passedComment

BF poster has seen him play for Claremont says Buller is a brute and athletic. Will Schofield played WAFL on a 19yo Buller and it was a tough match up, and that was before Buller got fit.
Looks a Harry McKay type, 199cm powerfully built with long arms, but can kick straight.
I'm quietly excited by both of these perfect need selections.Comment
