Can’t say I am thrilled, but if he develops a tank he could potentially be the inside player to compliment our outside guns

      Very young, huge upside

Not many doing what he does at his age..... not many doing it after that either

Agree. Both he and Roberts need serious work on their disposal. At the present time both are turnover kings. Hopefully this will change with experience

I think Sheldrick’s disposal has really improved this year, and is currently ahead of Roberts’, who is still given to terrible panic kicks.

neither are helped when we don't play enough tall fwds, all of a sudden "dump kicks" turn into "quick entries" when you have enough talls who can bring it to ground

Right now, he is. He’s allowing Mills to play back. He can improve (and so can Mills for the record, in a different way), but he’s playing an important structural role.

Now for Buller (shows a lot of promise), then there is fox, francis and hamling (no) Kirk (not sure) Ladhams (a query) LLoyd (not sure) and Mitchel (delist) and Ramps (retire) Paton no and Leidler (dont know)
                What say red and whiters

Bring it to ground? That's pessimistic. How about tall forwards who take contested marks?
"Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi final

Or tall fwds that arent playing on 3 defenders.
When we have enough talls, fwds can get on the lead as the defenders have to defend and not just clog space.

Look at Freo, 3 talls, 1 gets open as the defenders have to get on a player. We are the opposite.

Buller deserves a year, seems more flexible than Amartey or Mclean
                      Fox or Ramps, not both
Ladhams yes but doubt he stays
                      Hamling no
                      Francis no
Lloyd 50/50, purely as a back up
                      Not sure the rest

Agree with this (Francis may have another year already not sure ?)

                        the rest I would delist

Surely this year taught us that we need the depth of experienced players like Hamling and Francis on the list. Please keep them both.

Not sure they are depth when they are played in front of others

Hamling has been good in defence but given his age and we have Fox, id be ok with him going, especially after 3yrs

-How are players like Edwards, Buller and Snell meant to get ago ? Could understand if they were all first year players

                              - One of Francis or Hamiling and one of Fox or Rampe will need to retire at worst 3/4 need to go

                              - Buller is showing he is potentially worth another year

                              - Ladhams I would love to keep but we need to trade someone for a pick to help land the Academy kids (would rather keep him but Greene will be demanding some ground time soon and his second half of the VFL season so far has been impressive) and I think Ladhams will be seeking more AFL time

                              - Lloyd is tough not quite sure what to do there

                              - Florent has a long contract so he’s safe but if he was willing and the right deal was offered I would seriously look at it.

                              just my 2 cents worth

With our defenders - I'd tend to let Francis go, as of the two, Hamling as shown more as a depth, key defender - and that's ultimately the choice we're making here.

I love Robbie Fox, but you don't keep him and Ramps - and to be frank, I find the dismissal of Rampe on here a bit off. He's not quite the elite level player he was, but he just gave Toby Greene a bath and has had some good games this year. As long as there is an honest conversation about what next year could look like for him if Snell and Edwards kick on, sign him up for me.
