Would take Everitt, not interested in Addison.

Believe it when I see it, Vez is way too talented to let go IMO. The article is written by a one eyed bulldogs supporter, Mark Stevens so its probably just wishful thinking from him. After watching the Beatson interview I rekon Vez will still be with us next year.

Would think that we may have to include a lower round draft pick as well. Whilst I like Vesz those Bulldogs players would probably have to be rated above him, if only on number of games played. With The Bulldogs probably having to use their higher draft picks for father-son players (Wallis and Liberatore) they may be interested in our 3rd round pick which will be slightly higher than theirs

Overall I'd rather we kept Vesz and that he realises his potential....however the reality is that sometimes you need to trade and hopefully create a win/win for all concerned
Addison is ordinary and wouldn't be in our best 22, to suggest that we would need to throw in a draft pick to get him is laughable

Addison is the last thing we need. Has very very poor skills. I'd be absolutely livid if we gave up Vez for him.

I hope Vez is still a Swan next year and can maybe take over Moore's spot on the HFF.

Libber's got a son old enough to play? Must've been a child bride!

Hope he taught his son to keep his hands to himself!!

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Agree 100% .If we let him go its an indictment on our coaches ability to communicate with and inspire a fairly typical egocentric young man. Not all our recruits are Sunday School teachers or Mellow headed Buddhists. We gotta learn to get the best out of less than straight guys .Vez needed to be played to teachhim some basic truths. Denying him games proved nothing and hasn't helped the strength of the team either. You can only learn so much about swimming outside the pool. You need to get into the water and we need sophisticated player management of guys like Vez. eg Analysis of why they are not doing what the coaches want....then address the reasons...

I would suggest the Swans are very thorough in those thongs you mentioned. I would be very surprised if they haven't done everything in their powers to get him to the top level. People on here say that he may not have a big motor. No matter how talented and skilled a player may seem if they don't have the oomph to polish that off, they probably won't make.

Careful posting about players in thongs - the mere thought is likely to send some of the ladies' heart rates through the roof!

However Nick Davis' thong was over too soon. Perhaps Vez is wearing a Nick Davis hand me down thong.

You mean like Jolly last year? Doesn't always work like that.

Thanks, that was very interesting. Beatson comes over as very switched on about his job, the Swans continue to do a great job getting the right sort of people into these types of roles.

I thought we used the pick traded by Collingwood to get Jetta? That wasn't too bad.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                              Pick 14 and 38 wasn't fair value?

I'm not complaining but there was never any question that he was going and in particular going to Collingwood. Once someone has made the psychological leap to move, the existence of a contract only provides so much leverage.
