I thought Port looked like idiots for letting Stevens go into the draft. Look at where they are now...

You look so unprofessional, and like you have no idea how to negotiate. If I was the Adelaide CEO I would be fast losing confidence in people who were expressing there inability to negotiate.

All that said. I don't think Tippet is worth that much. He has kicked six goals against us in seven games. He looks like a flat track bully who kicks all his goals against bottom teams. Gary Rohan is not worth a 39 goal forward. Could be a very good lead up forward himself.

As I said earlier surprised TDL or another small forward isn't on the cards their current ones Callinan, Porplizia etc are rubbish

              Tippett?

You would think so. The porpoise kicked 30 goals and Callinan 39. Rubbish is a a bit wide of the mark

If Reggie said Johncock then it would have been spot on though.

I have tried to get interested in this thread but like Tippet, it has barely got interesting. We have just won a Premiership playing slingshot footy, running the ball forward with pace and now we look like going back to twin towers in the forward line. This didn,t work for Hawthorn and didn,t work for Adelaide.Dropping a man back to stand 20 metres in front of a tall forward is the way to negate their lead then have a third man up smashing the ball away. Sam Ried is already our future star in the forwards and we have been able to run 2 ruckmen ,which was essential for our success, by resting one at FF. What is the future for a second ruckman if Tippet plays for us? We needed the crumbing of Morton with all the tall timber up forward and I am excited to see Lamb there next year.Sure I trust the recruiters but don't want to give up a winning style to go back to the "Barry Hall" days of kicking to a key forward.I like our new style,I like the role of crumbers,I like playing 2 ruckmen. Can anyone assure me we will continue on this direction with Tippet in the team?

Been away for 3 days - hoped this would be wrapped up.

                    Obviously not.

No-one has won a back-to-back flag since Brisbane which would suggest that teams need to alter their playing style or they will get worked out by the opposition - such as playing loose men in the defensive 50 to negate our 'sling-shot' style. Adapt or die, as the saying goes.

Damy is correct, childish and petulant is a nice way to describe the comments.

"We've got rid of a bloke who doesn't want to be at the footy club; that's already a win." Crows list manager David Noble said.

What a jerk. Seriously AFC need to show a little bit of respect for a guy that put in for them over several years and nearly got hem into a grand final. It is not as though he didn't give them any notice of his intentions prior to signing his last contract with them.

Eventually, yes, but sometimes the opposition knows what you're going to do, but just can't do much about it. Back-to-back I say! Go Swans!!

Rubbish, he kicked four against Hawthorn in the prelim.

I remember how many people bagged Rhys when he joined.

He was playing fairly well until his concussion. Pulled his finger out in the prelim, albeit on Schoenmakers one out for the most part. Definitely a big + though I think.
