They pretty much came at the same time, a few days after the GF, but we needed to wait over a month longer before Tippett was actually confirmed ours thru the draft, hence the thread went on and on...

20 years puts it at 1993. I don't recall any great signing then. We were absolute crap or is that the year we signed Ron Barrasi, because he I believe is the single reason our club turned around.

add then a

resting midfield - O'Keefe, Parker, Bird, Hannebery
resting ruck - Pyke
goal kicking wingmen - Jetta and Rokan
and an awesome goal kicking midfield

I would be very surprised if any ONE player from the Swans will feature in the Coleman in 2014 race

I think you're right MM. If anything, the goal kicking beneficiary could be Tippett, as he might often find himself 1 on 1 with smaller opponents. And the new interpretation of how physical you could be in a marking contest should favour the big boys like Tippett and Cloke.
