Lobbe also target someone like Zac Smith or Scott Lycett(23). Lycett can take a mark go forward kick a goal

This is the New Idea take on Buddy.

I always take these stories with a grain of salt.

Dangerfield has now stated the he is going home to VICTORIA and has not nominated Geelong, at this point. Will find him in the Hawks next year.

My wife was at the awards dinner where Jesinta spoke last night. She said she was well spoken and articulate. Jesinta said that she loved Buddy more than ever now that he was brave enough to reveal that he needed help. So take with a grain of salt any stories that he's trying to save his relationship - they seem to be working on the problem together. She also said "be fearless in pursuit of your own happiness" - not a bad credo to live by.

The strength and bravery of Adam and Buddy is about all I can take out of a really crap year.

No soft spot for Heeney? James Rose's debut? The true grit of Josh and Hanners?

                    Cynic!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Danger might be trying to help the Crows get the best outcome by accepting he could go to another Vic team if Geelong don't offer enough by way of trade to Adelaide (after Adelaide match Geelong's offer to Danger). He is leaving in the best possible way and on the best terms and may well be trying to do the right thing by Adelaide as well as for himself.

I wonder if Melbourne will have another go at getting him - although they won't be able to offer picks 2 and 3 again. I wonder if they might give Petracca. While he was considered by many a pick #1 he only cost them #2. Together with their first round pick this year they would be offering less than they did last year and that might be enough to satisfy Adelaide. They still get to keep Brayshaw, plus they stand to gain Dangerfield - a completely proven quantity and clearly one of the 10 best players in the comp (= the world!).
All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Can't see Danger going to any weak teams. Carlton, Essendon, Melbourne, St Kilda still years to come good. Magpies young and developing, a bit slow for this year. Bulldogs shot themselves in the foot for Boyd. Cant see Tigers or Norf fitting Danger. Cats could come up if Danger, Selwood and 1 other players comes in. Hawks can create room for Danger and most clubs would take any Hawks player. ????

Notice there's a Lyon/Barrett "Wash up" segment on us on the AFL website. It's a video so my internet is too slow to watch it. Anyone else care to elaborate on what these numpties are (probably) wanking on about.

Nothing worth wasting minutes of your life watching. Swans need a ruck man and a key defender and will stagnate. Bird and Jetta will leave. I'm sorry I wasted those minutes.

Actually, I was little bit unfair (but on thread topic). Off thread topic, the bit of the Washup segment that was good was Barrett saying the fan and player response to Goodesy at the Adelaide game, and the response of indigenous players throughout the round was his favourite Swans moment. I hadn't fully appreciated how Goodesy's behaviour had freed so many other indigenous players to mark their own indigenous heritage.

Apparently he's not on trade table.
