Papley applies more and that’s after all his offensive efforts.
What’s weirder about Ronke is he did the two way thing well in his first year but has dropped off.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

On his 2018 form, absolutely. On everything since then, It’s hard to make a case for him ( injuries not withstanding ). Didn’t hit the scoreboard in his 3 games this year ( at all, no goals or behinds ) and was a shadow last year of his 2018 self. I’m not confident he has a future at AFL level to be honest.

I like Ronke but I am also tending to think he's now on the wrong side of the delisting ledger.
Although I think his late 2019 form was closer to his early career form (in effort at least), this year has done him no favours. Along the way, I have also doubted he has the ability to consistently deliver at this level.
As someone stated earlier, it was always going to be hard for Ben to live up to that seven goal breakout game.....Comment

But yes , what happened indeed ! He needs to watch that replay 5000 time’s over and remember what he is capable of when he is on !

I looked up Buddy, out of interest (since 2014, @@@@ what he did for Hawthorn). His closest to that is 6 goals and 6 tackles against Collingwood in 2018.
I was interested to note Buddy made 7 tackles in the 2016 GF, which I don't recall noticing previously. Not bad with bung ankle.
Other stats which interested me from that game: Kennedy 34 disposals (Rohan 5); Tippett 17 hitouts (Naismith 21 - their rucks were Jordan Roughead and Tom Boyd!).Comment

Paddy McCartin looking at getting back to an AFL club next year. Let's recruit him and draft Papley's brother so both Tom's will stay

Richmond have ruckmen Soldo, Nankervis and Coleman-Jones in addition to Chol. One of those is bound to go. From their POV, I would trade out Nankervis, but for us, Chol looks to best.
We're probably in a position to throw some money at him if we're keen. Perhaps having Aliir at the club could also be a selling point. Chol is contracted for 2021, but as you pointed out, Richmond are in a tough spot and they may let go of the player who wants to leave.
Chol and Ladhams are both worth pursuing. If we can find our next #1 ruckman this post season, and it's someone who can play straight away and be around for the next 8 to 10 years, we can start being a top 8 competitor next year, if injuries don't wreak the season.Comment

I don't us going after another ruckman, but only after we've giving our boys a test first. If Amartey or Knoll are ready, I'd bring one in now. I know Sinkers played his best game in the ruck for some time, but I don't know if he's our future ruckman. After Amartey and Knoll have had a crack (injuries permitting) then I'd wholeheartedly go after another ruckman like Chol.Comment
