Our backline decimation is no joke. Why would this be a joke?.Essendon interested in him as well. We got McLean in mid season draft.

He didn't make it at Melbourne and Carlton. Delisted from Carlton at the end of 2022.

If true, it shows where Gould stands in the future plans.

Got a fright when I read in The Age that the new Tassie team plans to talk to Warner Brothers!! (Turns out it was about using the name 'devils' which I thought would be in the public domain)

You never know. Look at Hickey. It's a free hit.

No way Jose! We may be desperate but we’re not that stupid, surely!

Oscar is a proven fail. Shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath as Hickey.

Inside Trading: Saint Jack Higgins in talks, Docker Lachie Schultz closes on trigger, big Cat Esava Ratugolea waits

AFL is reporting that Amartey is set to extend his contract reasonably soon. Of course, we've heard this before (Dawson, Mitchell) so until he's actually signed he could be off. But it's positive news that he seems to want to stay in Sydney.

Now if only he could get his body right (or get some better luck with injury - or lack thereof).

Things seem to have gone quiet on Stephens who was in talks about new contract.

I am 100% into McClean to CHB as a replacement for paddy.
Also keen on the parker to forward line for longer periods.

It’s the logical move re: McLean. Parks to spend more time up forward as well. With Ramps and Paddy out, you would think that Gould would get a decent go, but it looks like unfortunately they don’t think he’s good enough.

Hasn’t been given a fair go.

With the advent of a Tasmanian team I would be looking to find some Academy boys who can make the grade. The more local talent we can get the better, which hopefully results in a resounding NO to going to Tassie. I think both Cleary and Kirk are looking good for this coming end of season draft. Even if they go on the Rookie list. We need to start drafting some defenders also.

Four years isn’t a fair go??? Think of the blokes we’ve cut after two years who showed much more.
