Surprised we didn't match for Cochran - wonder what that is all about. Hope it isn't one over the longer term we regret.

I was going to write, that maybe the thinking is that he needs a couple of years to be ready and at that stage he can be lured back through the go home factor, but that seems a risky and perhaps improbable strategy.

We know Cochran best, but he seems a low risk pick at that range of the draft. Odd.

But I guess it makes sense in light of the selection of Andrew.

I didn't mind that Carlton matched our bid for Camporeale, but I'm now really hoping that Melbourne don't match our bid for Riak Andrew.

In the general vicinity of Mac would be very good. If given the choice of any player to bring to the Swans, I'd be tossing up between Sam Darcy, Harley Reid and Mac Andrew.
