But suddenly come trade time, they come up with pie in the sky crap like that and you beleive it.
I am sure White would be up for trade for say either Reiwoldt, but is that going to happen............................................ ...................

Why is it on here that everybody knows during the year that the Melbourne media know fricking nothing about our club, players or what we are doing.
But suddenly come trade time, they come up with pie in the sky crap like that and you beleive it.

If the Suns were stupid enough to throw up a top 3 draft pick for White then yes he "would" be up for trade but that aint going to happen when someone like Scotty Clayton is in charge of their recruiting (we are not dealing with the Dockers).
White is now at a stage in his career that means he is more valuable to us than his worth on the free market, due to the amount of development we have put in and his potential.
It means that we would be reluctant to let him go for anything less than a mid to late first rounder due to what he might be capable of doing and another club would be fearful of offeirng that for him due to the still sizeable risk that he won't make it as a senior footballer on an AFL list if he can't sort a few issues out.
Same reason the Swans won't delist or trade Currie this year.
Therefore 99.9% of cases like this, end with these types of players staying.

The armchair list managers @ BF reckon Dean Polo - Richmond [24yo, 56 games, 187cm / 83kg, Mid/ Fwd/HBF] for a late pick is on the cards...any takers?Comment

I can tell you for a fact that all remaining senior listed players are up for trade for the right deal.

Andrew Krakouer. Yes please.
In the WAFL Grand Final today he had 43 disposals, 11 marks and 4 goals including the match winner with about 30 seconds to go to put his side 1 point up.
This year he has won the Sandover medal (WAFL MVP) and the Simpson medal for BOG in the GF. He will probably go to the weagles though.Comment

He always had lots of ability just wasn't focused when he was at Wretchmond. A year in the slammer and realising the opportunity is slipping by has brought him to the level he hould have been at 5 years ago. Well done to him for turning his life around and I reckon he would flourish in our environment so why not? Be very interesting to see how high up in the draft he is taken, could even be in the 20s for a game breaker like him.Comment
