Luke Parker's manager on Trade Radio said what we all expected him to and that Parks is going nowhere. Also mentioned that there is already an offer on the table for an extension from Sydney and that they hope to have it all finished by Christmas.Twitter @cmdil

Maybe an unpopular idea (I know its an unpopular idea) we should consider trading Mitchel and bird or Robbo for Demons pick 6 and draft someone like darcy parishComment

The wonderful footy brain part is the most important thing in football. It really goes a long way and probably the main reason why Hawthorn are so good, even more than their skill level.
She has Dunkley at 33, description:
A big bodied midfielder with a wonderful footy brain. Strong, contested weapon in close who has worked hard on his outside game. Blessed with leadership and courage, and is strong mark overhead. Has great temperament and competitiveness, and has honed his inside game since debuting as a 15 year old in senior bush footy. Coaches love him.
Some of the negative stuff about Dunkley reminds me of what people used to say about Matt Priddis. Too slow, can't kick. What are they saying now?Comment

I should have mentioned that the offer is only in its' preliminary stages...not a concrete final offer that is 'take it or leave it' like Jetta's was.

Mitchell by himself is more valuable to us than pick 6...let alone chucking in Bird and/or Robbo. The kid is a serious gun, as evidenced on Brownlow night.Twitter @cmdil

its an interesting one
my sister actually kicked the ball better then Andrew Dunkley ........I have never seen a worse kick then Andrew Dunkley in my life at any football level
BUT Josh Kennedy was a shocking kick on the run and used to make terrible decisions prior to the Swans bringing him on board
SO if young Dunkley is brought in for an inside role and not as an outside player then i think he has great value under our current style of play...........and I am sure Paul Roos has been watching the young man like a hawk .........so to speak"be tough, only when it gets tough"

FWIW, Dunkley isn't a completely horrible kick...it's just not the strongest part of his game. He is far more adept than his old man by foot.Twitter @cmdil

Andrew Dunkley could regularly kick the ball 65 metres. It often didn't go where he wanted it to, but it did go a long way. He looked seriously awkward, but he could really hoof it.its an interesting one
