I believe Rohan has taken his game to another level this year. Previously he use to run flat out for every contest, now he knows when to put the jets on and when to hold back and not waste energy. Much smarter more mature footballer and I thought he did many good things with the ball and without he ball on Saturday. I think Finals nerves are behind him now. It was a good sporting gesture and a sign of his maturity when he fell on the leg of the Carlton player and then went to see if he was OK!Comment

No gws lost their first round pick due to the Whitfield incident. Premiers get pick 17. Could change depending on Rockcliff. ATM 13 if we finish 5th & 12 if we finish 6th depending on tomorrow's game.Comment

Sorry Boddo that's incorrect. There's already 12 teams out so that's picks 1-12 locked away, pick 13 is the earliest pick we can have if GWS get beat which is unlikely.
So probably WCE get pick 13, we have pick 14, Geelong, Adel, Rich get 15-17, GWS picked demoted to where they won't use it as a pick.Comment

I wonder if a club like Freo would be interested in Marsh and our 1st round pick this year for their 2018 1st rounder. They need a HBF and also would like to accelerate their rebuild.
Pick 13 or 14 usually gives you a shot at a reasonably good player even in a poor year like this one.Comment

7 touches.. 6 turnovers..
Happy to trade Rohan for something comparable to what GWS got for Rhys PalmerComment

I have no idea about any of the kids in this year's draft but from what I've read here it seems that this year is pretty poor on face value. Given that, it would seem pick 14 is a bit of a nothing pick. Do you think there is a chance of either upgrading this pick OR swapping it for a future 1st rounder?Comment

The general consensus is, however, that the draft this year is quite shallow but all the same anything first round will still be good as well as our second pick.
Next year is meant to be a lot stronger so I would think clubs would be very reluctant to trade them. We also seem reluctant to trade future picks but I guess we could be tempted.
Despite what happened last night I still think our list is in pretty good shape. Even Florent and Hayward who one Muppet derided as being too small (they are forst year players and 18 years old FFS). I think we'll only trade players if the deal suits us and I think it will be pick upgrades. I'd personally love us to get our hands on Pick 5 from Freo that should get us Brander but they'd know that too.
I expect us to take our first three rounders as usual and that we may trade out a player to get our third pick upgradedComment

Rohan tried to take game on to create from behind the ball when we were miles behind. He stays and has been very valuable up forward this year. We couldn't get our hands on the ball we were pressured when going forward. As a result all our forwards were poor. Our structure was stuffed. Don't blame one person.Comment
