As an aside, if we do let Hanners go for a future second rounder that would be the same as we got for Sam Murray last year.
I can see pick 13 being used on Moore. I don't think he's worth it so maybe Collingwoods 1st or 2nd pick in return might get it done. We should be looking to boost our points sufficiently so that we can hopefully trade in a couple of decent 2nd round players in this strong draft.

Pies don't have a 2nd rounder, they traded it to us for Murray, speaking of who, we dodged a bullet on! (pending B sample testing)

Reliable source. Been an Essendon member for over 30 years. Just said that talks have happened, no contracts have been signed. Not sure about it because it would likely cost us Parker, pick 13 and paying him a million a year!

              No thank you

Take Parker out of the deal plus about $250,000 and a deal might be attractive.

Essendon trading Merrett (or him wanting to leave Essendon) seems about as likely as the Swans trading Heeney (or him wanting to leave Sydney).

Injury prone, yes. Useless and selfish? Really? What do you base that on?

Was the best ruck/fwd in the comp for half a season before injury struck him down yet again. Don't confuse the qualities of the man with his devastating run of injuries whilst with us. He was a recruiting coup, just didn't work out due to those injuries.

As for Merrett, just another rumour with absolutely no substance. Did you hear the one about Pendelbury wanting to move to ........

Moore’s manager said that if the Pies wanted him to stay he’d stay. But I wonder if they want to keep him if May is coming.

He is too old. We might as well keep Towers.

Probably a bit of a joke but Rohan commented on Instagram "Go Eagles #newhome" ...
It was on Nick Davis' post
