We’d need to give draft pick as well as Amartey to get him.

I think a committee of Faunac8, The Bloods, MCS, Ludwig and I’mUnimformed can debate the question of whether my Lobb for Amartey suggestion is embarrassing?
They can....if that makes you feel better about yourself. Sure.

Why do you always have to call out certain members to give analysis? It's really painful

        My two cents...

Lobb: Gave every impression that he was going to be a star but hasn't progressed. 29 at the start of next season, unlikely to improve much and has a very expensive contract (allegedly). Would avoid.
Sicily: At his best is a super player. Would improve our team immensely. Interested.

While some posters say that they would love to see Adelaide miss out on JD by Norf picking him up in the PSD, I would say that this is a terrible outcome for us as it means we lost one of our best young players for nothing. Once he is in the PSD we lose big-time regardless of where he ends up going. We will also rightfully be heavily criticised for losing our shirt in the poker game.

Another poster asked about why we are not going to receive a similar deal for JD as Freo did for Cera. The answer really comes down to differences in relative bargaining position. Carlton are a couple of places further down the draft order than Adelaide. While this does not sound like much, it means the threat of going to the PSD is less than is the case for JD. If JD had nominated Port, we would have been looking at something closer in substance to the Cera deal - our bad luck.

That is pertinent but the point is that if it becomes apparent that there is a significant risk North may take him in the PSD, either the Crows would up their offer or JD would prefer to stay with us in Sydney than go to North and will change his mind.

Would take the opinion/optimism of Mitchell, who is ringing clubs to offload his player, with a grain of salt

I sometimes get the impression that Bangalore is immune to embarrassment. Rather Bangalore is willing to chuck a cat among the pigeons to get a reaction and drive discussion.

All opinions are valuable. Apologies for the confusion.

Obviously my opinion on Lobb is embarrassing according to Stevo.

I wasn’t going to let that smear slide.

Apologies, you are right, I meant he did it last year (and more than a year ago). Still struggling to accept its 2021! He should be right to go by round 1 next year you'd think. And I'm sure our medical staff would check him out. The increased risk of future ACLs is a bit worry though.

I did until I clicked on the 3 line menu in the top left of the page, and turned off the dark mode. I have no idea why they've decided to make 'almost unreadable' the default mode??

Lobb is a waste of time. I cannot believe people are pushing his for his recruitment. He doesn't want to come here, he is too expensive and he is not what we need.

Sicily on the other hand .. maybe
