That's good. I’ve enjoyed his work in the VFL this season and I do think he'll perform well when he gets his chance to debut*. At the very least, if he just makes a few AFL appearances next year, it should increase his trade value.

*If one of our defenders gets injured, there's a slight chance he'll become one of the few players that have made their debut in a grand final.

Very happy for Gould really think he has something and deserves a crack at the seniors at some point

Absolutely! Who else beside Lloydy do we need to re-sign?

Didn’t realise there were so many- thanks rb4x! Wonder who we will let go- surely not Harry or Clarke!

Retiring Swan Josh Kennedy's career officially over after ANOTHER hamstring tweak

Maybe not a surprise. Maybe a good thing, as there will be no pressure to select him as sub should we make the GF next weekend. But still somewhat sad to have confirmation it really is now over for Josh.

We probably don't "need" to re-sign most of the players who remain unsigned. But we do "need" to if he is to play at the club next year.

I've said this before but I think people are going to miss the Budster once he's gone. He really is a once in a generation player, and I
wouldn't be wishing him away too soon. When he is "done" as a player, he'll be the first to know. He's way too proud to go on
past that point. It's part of the reason he has been so great.
And yes sad about JPK. Just a total champ for us like Adam and Kelly were. If the current crop of mids have even half the career
JPK had they'll have done really well for themselves and us.

About round ten most Swans supporters were wondering why Ryan was still on the list and what role he would play. I don't think that is still the case

LOL, sounds like me at the monthly wine auction, I don't NEED any more wine but when I peruse the catalogue, I always WANT more wine!

Agree with your statement, if Buddy re-signs he does, but on our terms, if he doesn't then we move on, organic growth

Ryan Clarke will get another year after his strong second half of the season

On another thread we were discussing Derek Kickett, another prodigiously talented indigenous player. Derek's output was in decline from the moment he arrived, but in his final year there were some very quiet performances. But for all that his very last kick was an outrageous 60 metre torpedo goal in the 96 granny.
Buddy still has magic left in him, but is he going to produce enough moments to compensate for his overall decline. I feel there's a chance a fining is coming my way for even daring to ask the question.
In the case of Derek, the answer was "No"
In the case of Buddy, the answer is . . . dunno yet, let's see what he can do in the next game or two.

Reckon Jackson to West coast is a possibility and we could ironically trade our Melbourne Pick 14 for West Coasts 20 and 26 to help facilitate

West coast trade 14 and next years first for Jackson and next years 2nd Rnd Pick

Why would the Swans do that? Seems to materially weaken our draft hand.
