My read of the situation is that the Suns have indicated to Lukosius that he is free to explore his options. Seems like Hardwick isn't that enamoured with him. The Suns will need some draft capital for Rioli, while he'll fill an obvious need for Port with their forward line delivery the weakest part of their game. That said, they'll likely need to give up whatever they get for Houston, and he'll be a loss. But he's made his decision that he'd prefer to leave.

Big rumours in WA that if the Swans win the flag next week, Chad is off to the Eagles.
Chad Warner to the West Coast Eagles? (AFL Trade Rumour) (youtube.com)
He has recently said he wants to get his two other brothers to the Swans......why would he say this if he's considering leaving?
I think this is desperate Eagles fans hoping/dreaming of a dream scenario...but Chad did allude earlier in the season to doing what's best for him AND his girlfriend, who also hails from WA.Comment

Things change over time. Now that the third of the Warner boys is unlikely to be drafted by anyone, and thus stay in WA, the lure of home would be greater (as Corey can also come back to WA). I want him to stay, but he would cost a lot of dollars to keep, and we would get some good picks back for him.Big rumours in WA that if the Swans win the flag next week, Chad is off to the Eagles.

Cal Twomey is convinced Parker is off to North next year. Whilst I guess the midfield opportunities will be greater there, it would be seriously disappointing to lose a club champion like Luke.Comment

Could be a win win
Get him another medal, wish him well.
Sheldrick and Cleary have to play next year and some stupidly put 3yrs in front of Adams.
Sheldrick will been a trade week discussion, clubs will come for him, hope he stays. Was unlucky with injury.Comment

I don't see that Parker will get substantially more midfield opportunity at North next year than he would at Sydney. The midfield is the one section of the ground where they are overflowing with young (and youngish talent), and even if some of those players aren't yet at their peak, North aren't going to play Parker in the guts at the expense of getting more games into the likes of McKercher, Powell, Sheezel and the like. If he does leave us for North I suspect he'll find himself in a position similar to Adams here at the Swans. Promised more midfield time but really spending time at half-forward. Or out of the side.
I think Parker is a player with more strings to his bow than Adams because he does have genuine mid-sized forward craft. So he might find himself with a more secure position in North's forward line than Adams did in Sydney's. But I also suspect Parker will be able to establish himself as a permanent fixture in our forward line too. Just not our midfield.👍 2Comment

It was an interesting decision. He was brought in to help with clearances, yet he's spent most of the season in starvation corner and has very low centre bounce attendances. Of course he gets 2 more seasons to turn that around, but he isn't even an emergency for the gran ny.

Obviously I'm saying that with the benefit of hindsight but List Managers should foresee what has happenedIt was an interesting decision. Can't wait til Wicks is part of the equation next year againComment

My son lives in Perth and he said he has heard this sort of stuff about Chad for a couple of years. He said they just throw up names at will.Big rumours in WA that if the Swans win the flag next week, Chad is off to the Eagles.

Time for a clear out.
need some players with gumption and composure. So far away from a flag we can’t make the case for minor tweaksHe ate more cheese, than time allowedComment
