Just because of the hype (and because some people have nothing better to do), I'd estimate about 10 to 30 brightly-decked-out Crows supporters will rock up and make noise early, knowing that they'll get their mug on the TV. Depending on how the game's going, it's an open question whether any of them even make it to the final siren.

I realy HATE the glass half empty angel!
Definitely glass half full for me ... more like completely full. I just can't wait to see McVeigh with ball in hand lower his eyes looking for a lead ... and he sees KT. All game long, all season long.

Oh thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't even thought of "what if he gets knocked out first game?"! You suck!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I hope he's used as a supplement to what we already do rather than a significant change to our style. Currently our strength is in our overwhelming midfield depth and quality and we'd clearly be daft to change that. I see KT as a complement to what we already have and someone who CAN deliver with a contested mark and goal when we get it forward quickly. We won't always look for him but even him being there and dragging defenders away should create more opportunities for our forward mids and for Morton, Goodes & McGlynn.

Will Tippett be a stay-at-home ff, thereby forcing the opposition to keep a defender back, subsequently diluting our slingshot? I think it will mess with our game plan for a month or so until we can work it out, so I wont be surprised if there are some close calls and frustrating passages in the next few games.
I think we adapted very well to Jesse playing the lead up FF last week. I also think Jesse will play the same role again and Tippett will play CHF & Ruck. Big ground, Big CHF. There won't need to be any transition Tip will play the same role as Sammy except he will pinch hit in the ruck and ruck duties could be shared three way, Pykie, Jesse & Tip.

I'm sure I read that Longmire said that Tippo will be a perm forward only this week. If Kurt's going to do forward/ruck I would have rather he did that for half a game, but I don't know if we can maybe read into it that they're thinking of Kurt as a permanent forward for this year since we have a pretty strong ruck duo?

If he plays all forward I would think he will play the whole game. If he plays ruck/forward maybe 1/2 to 3/4 game. But I don't see the problem him playing ruck/forward as this will get him involved in the game. He doesn't need to play a half ruck role as Pykie is very fit and can ruck for long periods.

I assume that we need to wish him all the best and this record post should be the one where we pass on our regards..

Good Luck to Kurt Tippett on his first game for the Swans tomorrow.
